App vs. browser: which is right for you
Our Android APK app caches market data on your device so you can browse Liga 1 fixtures and odds even if your internet connection drops mobile bankingefly. The app sends push notifications when odds update or your trade settles, so you do not need to check manually. Startup time is faster than the browser because the app loads your interface from local storage on first launch. Battery consumption is lower on the app because it does not refresh the entire webpage every time you switch tabs. The APK also blocks ads, if any. The trade-off: the app takes storage space (roughly 50–100 MB) and requires you to download updates separately when we release new features.
The browser path—Safari on iOS, Chrome on Android, or any browser on desktop—works instantly without installation. You do not need to download updates; the latest version loads every time you visit simba.best. The trade-off: the browser refreshes the entire page each time you switch back from another app, so odds may load slower. You do not receive push notifications unless your browser allows them (not all browsers do). Battery drain is higher because the browser constantly refreshes. If you are on a slower connection in Jakarta, Surabaya, or Bandung during peak hours, the app is noticeably faster.
Choose your platform
- Android APK: Fast, offline cache, push notifications, lower battery use. Requires unknown sources enabled and storage permission.
- iOS browser: No installation needed, instant access. Slower startup, no background notifications, higher battery drain.
- Web app: Works on any device, always up to date. Slow refresh when switching apps, high data use.
Device compatibility and requirements
The simba Android APK installs on devices running Android 7 (released 2016) or later. Most smartphones and tablets sold in the last seven years meet this requirement. If your device is older, the web app at simba.best remains fully functional; it requires only a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. iOS users can access simba through Safari on iOS 12 and above (2018 or later). iPhone models from iPhone 5s onward support iOS 12. If you have an older iPhone, upgrade to a newer version of iOS or use the web app. Desktop users need only a modern browser; there is no minimum OS requirement.
Common installation issues and solutions
If Android says "Installation blocked" or "Unknown sources disabled," go to Settings → Security and toggle "Unknown sources" on before retrying the APK. If the APK file does not download, ensure your download folder has at least 100 MB of free space. If you see a certificate error when opening simba.best in Safari on iOS, close Safari completely and open it again; this clears the cache. If the app crashes on startup, uninstall it, clear your device cache (Settings → Storage → Cached data), and reinstall the APK. If you see a "Connection timeout" message, check your internet connection and retry after 30 seconds. If you forget your password, visit simba.best on any browser, click "Forgot password," and follow the email recovery link.
App permissions, security, and your account
The simba app requests only two permissions: storage (to cache market data and app files) and internet (to connect to our servers). It does not request location, camera, microphone, or contacts. All communication between your device and our servers uses TLS 1.3 encryption; your username, password, and two-factor codes are transmitted securely and never stored on your device's storage. Your account session is encrypted separately. If you enable two-factor authentication (which we recommend), every login requires a time-based code generated on your device; even if someone obtains your password, they cannot access your account without this code. When you log out, your session ends immediately and your device forgets your authentication token. If you suspect your account has been compromised—for example, you see trades you did not make—contact our support team immediately and change your password from a secure device.
We test the simba app on a wide range of devices and keep it updated with security patches. If you encounter a bug, report it through the in-app support menu so we can investigate and fix it.
